Different Projects
Kind of Different Project
A brand designed to provide support and comfort to neurodivergent kids and their families, educate families of neurotypical children about their “different” friends, and promote compassion, kindness, and inclusion.
Kind of Different is a certified woman-owned diverse business that includes an online store and a YouTube channel.
Brand's focus:
• Books, paper goods, and visual storytelling for and about autistic children;
• Inclusive children’s content focused on neurodiversity;
• Advocacy through design, narrative, and representation.
One-of-a-Kind Children's Books
Personalized stories written as poems and accompanied with custom illustrations about a particular child, their family, everyday life, interests, and habits.
Each book is individually printed, manually assembled, and beautifully packed.
Creative Writing
I use language the same way I use visual elements – as precise tools to outline ideas, frame concepts, and shape perceptions.
That’s what I mean by Intellectual Coercion.
A note from my book "Spit Take Notes":
Motherhood
Having kids is the biggest scam in the human race's existence.
First, your friends and relatives with kids brainwash you by talking about "having kids is pure love, joy, rainbows, flowers, and butterflies"… "it will transform your understanding of love and life"…
More like you will realize the true value of freedom, sleep, silence, good health, and having your shit together in general.
Then you finally get pregnant, and you think you're going to feel and look all loved and cute, and everybody's going to be smiling, helping, and complimenting you, when in the reality those, who know what you're about to endure, are looking at you with sorry-ass smiles while thinking, "Welcome to the hell circus, sis!"
